Cadillac SRX rear suspension sag – is it the air bags or just worn coils?
Got a 2015 SRX and lately the back end sits almost an inch lower on the right side, especially when the car's been parked for a few hours. Took a peek underneath and honestly I can't tell if it has the auto leveling air assist or just regular coils, the previous owner wasn't sure either. Drove it over to a general workshop in Ras Al Khor and they quoted me for replacing both rear shocks plus springs without even properly diagnosing what's actually causing the lean. That felt off to me so I held off. Started digging around online and came across some detailed info on suspensionrepairdubai.ae/cadillac-suspension-repair that mentioned how Cadillac's rear suspension setup can be tricky because some trims have self leveling while others don't, and mixing parts can make things worse. Has anyone dealt with this exact uneven sag on an SRX? Trying to figure out if I should just convert to standard coils or hunt down the original air components. Really don't want to throw money at it only to have the same problem a month later.
